— Alynda (Lyndie) Wood is a neuroscientist committed to supporting public health and the pursuit of scientific knowledge
Lyndie received her PhD from Emory University in 2021. She has experience working on dynamic cross-functional teams to support the administration of large scientific programs and communicating science to broad audiences.
Originally trained as a systems neuroscientist, she has conducted research on the neurobiology of motor skill learning and sensory system development, and taught neuroscience to undergraduate and graduate students. She is a former AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow, National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow, and ARCS Scholar.
